Ordering, Display and Cancelation Policies

Small Events / Take out orders


Delicacy Catering kindly requests a minimum of 12 guests for all orders. 

Please place your orders with as much advance notice as possible but no later than 12:00 noon the day prior to your event. In the rare occurrence that you are on a last-minute deadline, we will be happy to try to accommodate your needs, but the menu selection may be limited. For your convenience Online Ordering is also available with a limited menu choices.

Set-Up & Food Display: 

All menu offerings will typically be displayed on attractive plastic disposable platters for your convenience. And are also available on handcrafted baskets, ceramic platters and glass bowls, to be setup and displayed by our staff for an extra cost. Our highly trained delivery personnel will take the time to unwrap, setup and display your order items and make certain that all is to your complete satisfaction.



Payments for drop-off orders can be made by a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover, 3.75% Credit Card fee will apply), check, or cash before delivery.


Service and Delivery fees:

Service of 10% will be added to a final bill. 

Delivery charges vary.  The minimum of $25 delivery charge will apply.



 If it is necessary to cancel a drop-off order, please call and cancel your order by 10:00 a.m. one full business day (Monday through Friday) before your event, and receive 50% refund from the total bill.  Any orders cancelled beyond that time will be charged at a rate of 100% of the Total bill. 



Large Events / Wedding receptions

Full Service Design: 

Our event coordinators are capable of handling every facet of your affair from menu design, special themes, floral centerpieces, linen selections and rental of china plates, glassware, silver flatware, tables, chairs, chafing dishes and silver buffet serving pieces. Contact our office for a details.


If it is necessary to cancel an Event, please call our office at 860-236-7100, or email to: events@delicacycatering.com.  The funds paid towards the Contract for the Event are Non-Refundable at all times.  


With an Exception, if the Governor of the Sate of Connecticut will forbidden us, the Caterers, from catering a Larger Events of 100 guests or more due to COVID-19 or any other issues, then 50% refund of all funds received towards the Contract of said Larger Event of 100 and more, will be refunded to the Credit card on file.  

To all other Event's, the funds will remain to be a non-refundable.
